Summer at Chase is located on the 47- acre campus of CHASE COLLEGIATE SCHOOL in suburban Waterbury.  Established in 1865, Chase is an academically demanding co-ed day school for 520 students in Prekindergarten-3 through grade 12.  The campus environment, with its dedicated staff, beautiful buildings, expansive sports facilities and art studios provides campers with plenty of space for a full camp experience.   

 

Chase Collegiate School is proudly continues our summer traditions of the past.  Our wide selection of programs enables children and teens to explore new possibilities, make new friendships, and have an exciting summer.  Whether you are currently a part of the Chase community or new to our programs, we look forward to helping your family have a rewarding summer experience.

 

Camp Highlander, our popular day camp program for ages 5-12 uses the facilities of Chase’s beautiful 47 acre campus.  The tradition continues with fun filled theme weeks, returning camp counselors and different adventures each week – June 16– August 1. 

 

Discovery Days a Pre-school day program for 3 and 4 year olds, offers an engaging full or half day program.  Utilizing the Pre-K facilities at Chase Collegiate School and taking advantage of a safe beautiful campus, your child will love going to Discovery Days and will make many new friends.  We offer a 7-1 counselor to camper ratio and talented experienced teachers leading the way.  June 16 – August 1 

 

Specialty Camps, for ages 7-18, are one or two week camps in which campers are able broaden their experiences in the areas of art, music, creative writing and cooking.  Campers can select one or more from the list of options.  Get ready for the adventure, meet new friends and learn from the very best artisans.  June 23 – July 25 

 

Sports Clinics include golf, tennis, softball, lacrosse and basketball for girls and boys of all abilities.  Clinics are designed and taught by varsity level winning coaches and utilize Chase’s athletic fields and courts. June 23 – August 1 

 

Academic enrichment courses are diverse in content for all grade levels. All courses guarantee small class size and an experienced teacher – 80% teach at Chase Collegiate School.  Some students and parents take the opportunity to improve in a certain subject such as language arts, mathematics or language, while others may want to experiment in a new science area. June 23 – July 18

 

The Beyond – Beyond Basketball Clinic, directed by Chase’s Director of Athletics, Ray Behr returns for its 25th year - July 7 – July 25.  

 

Science - Chase is proud to host Camp Invention® -- a nationally recognized science camp for children ages 8–12 for the 5th year.  Sponsored by The National Inventors Hall of Fame, this one-week program combines science, math, history and the arts in a hands-on learning environment.  August 4 – August 8

MIX and MATCH Flexibility

Children may participate in Camp Highlander and combine this with one or more programs during the day.  Discounts apply to all of these "Mix ans Match" combinations.  Children are escorted to and from one program to another by a counselor or staff member.

 

Registration and Enrollment Information

Extra forms can be downloaded at www.chasecollegiate.org.

Enrollment is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  State regulation requires children to have the proper health forms for Day Camps and Sports Clinics.  Courses and clinics with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation.  Cancelled courses and sports clinics fees are refunded in full if an alternative program is not found.

Chase is a smoke free campus. Use or possession of alcohol, tobacco, or controlled substances will result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund.
