In its 11th year, the Summer Art Academy is devoted to young visual artists from ages 8-14 and their creative art experience. Campers select three to four classes from a range of media offerings including watercolor painting, drawing, kite making and flying, cartooning, animation, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry making, fine Chinese crafts, knitting and design/architecture. Classes are limited to ten students and are taught by professional artists in studio settings. Day long program that includes swimming at Fortin Center. Campers bring their own snacks and lunch. Guest artists visit daily. Open Art Studios for families and friends on last day. Depending on number of classes enrolled in fees are $255.00-$300.00 including supplies.
