Build Your Own Board Game! Art & Yoga Summer Camp Session One: week of June 12-16 Session Two: July 10-14 Kids will build their very own board game that they can play with family and friends! Using their imagination and games they bring in, each child will decided on the theme, design, rules, game pieces and more. The group will learn about the history of games from around the world. The group will also create a “life-sized” board game, including all of the rules, which everyone will play on the last day. Camp includes lots of creativity, outdoor time, art projects, yoga & stretching, and more. Create Your Own Comic Book! Art & Yoga Summer Camp Session One: week of June 19-23 Session Two: week of July 17-21 Kids will use pen-and-ink and watercolors to create comic book characters, comic strips, cartoons and flip books, gaining drawing and story-telling skills. Projects will teach kids how to make realistic renderings, while others will be abstract, humorous and silly. Campers will also explore the history of comics, including the creation and life of Charlie Brown. Each child will take home an 11” x 17” comic book they created over the course of the week. Camp includes lots of creativity, outdoor time, art projects, yoga & stretching, and more. Fashion Your Own Bling! Art & Yoga Summer Camp Session One: week of June 26-30 Session Two: week of July 24-28 Art Divas will make their own jewelry, including model magic necklaces and beaded leather bracelets, and work with face paints, henna tattoos and more ... all in the name of fun and fashion. The kids will also get to dress CoCo, the camp’s mascot/mannequin. The group will also study the history of jewelry and adornment in other cultures. Camp includes lots of creativity, outdoor time, art projects, yoga & stretching, and more. One-week session for kids ages 6 and up, M-F, 8:30am-3pm; aftercare available until 5:30pm. $195 (all supplies included); $35 for aftercare. Minimum 6, maximum 12 children.
