Intro to Photography
Ages 7-14
This 4 day camp, led by Jennifer Shaw, will offer students an introduction to the art of photography, through hands on projects exploring cyanotypes, pinhole cameras, and the basics of photographic composition. This program is offered in partnership with the New Orleans Photo Alliance
African Drum and Dance with Seguenon Kone
Ages 6-16
For 4 days, enjoy instruction in traditional West African drum and dance rhythms. Students will play several types of hand-made drums, including djembes and djun-djuns, and percussion instruments such as the balon and shekore. They will explore sound, art and construction of each instrument, sing melodies in the West African languages of Mandinko, Senoufo and Bahoule, and learn about cultural traditions which are illustrated by the music, dance and song.
DRAMA AND IMPROV CAMP
Ages 7 – 12
Back by popular demand, Drama and Improvisation Camp will feature new friends and old friends. Local Artist and educator David Rex Joyner will again direct this four day hands-on Drama Improvisation camp. Morning sessions will be lead by Mr. Joyner, while visiting thespians will offer afternoon workshops. On the final day of camp parents are invited to a short presentation of techniques and skills learned during the four day camp.
VISUAL ART CAMP
Ages 6 - 14
The Visual Art Camp is a four day visual arts experience. Artists will complete eight separate projects in workshops led by local artists. David Rex Joyner will serve as camp leader.
Puppet Camp w/ Ryan Ballard
ages 6-16
In this 4 day puppetry camp, students are given a hands-on opportunity to create their own puppets & props, as well as develop their own scripts and stories. They will present a performance of puppet shows both scripted and improvisational

All camps meet Monday through Thursday (4 days) from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Doors will open at 8:30 am and close at 3:30 pm.
Students should bring a sack lunch. Week 1, July 5 - 8
Enrollment limited to 20 students per camp.
COST: $120 for 3 Ring Circus members; $150 for non-members.
(cost includes water, art supplies and instrument rental)
