All campers will not only obtain an increased understanding of the history of life on earth, but a tee-shirt, lanyard, fossil collecting backpack, and ID badge identifying them as a summer camp participant. Daily snack and program supplies will be provided. Registration fee is $100 per session for members and $130 per session for non-members. Session sizes are limited to 15 children.

Dinosaurs Rock! (students entering 1st and 2nd Grade) Session 1: July 9th - July 13th Stomp back in time and learn about these prehistoric superstars. Explore dinosaurs through fossils, models, songs, stories, and other DINOmite activities!

Fossils Rock! (students entering 1st and 2nd Grade) Session 2: July 16th - July 20th Become a junior paleontologist as we study fossils. Learn how they form, how to identify local fossils, and make your own fossils while finding real fossils for your own collection!

Dinosaurs Keep Rockin'! (students entering 3rd and 4th Grade) Session 3: (July 23rd - July 27th) Learn about the world of dinosaurs - when they lived, what they ate, and what kind of sounds they may have made. By studying real fossils and casts, travel back to the Triassic Period and explore dinosaurs!

Rocks Rock! (students entering 3rd and 4th Grade) Session 4: July 31st - August 2nd) Become a junior geologist and learn about our dynamic planet earth. Investigate how rocks form, what causes earthquakes, and create your own erupting volcano!

Earth Rocks! (students entering 5th and 6th Grade) Session 5: August 13th - August 17th) Investigate planet earth by studying both its past and present and creating a plan for a sustainable future. Learn about climate change, biodiversity loss, energy sources, and many other topics as we journey into the history of the earth!

Paleontology Rocks! (students entering 5th and 6th Grade) Session 6: August 13th - August 17th Paleontology: the study of fossils - how do fossils form? How do scientists clean and prepare fossils? What do fossils teach us? Learn all this and much more as we delve into the fascinating science of paleontology!
