The Joppa Flats Education Center is located at the gateway to one of the countrys most productive year-round wildlife viewing areas the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and the Plum Island estuary.
SCAMP is a day camp that offers a summer of learning and fun for children ages 6-9, including tide pool trips, boat cruises, birding walks, mud flat adventures and more!
If your child is looking for more than just an introduction to ecology, the Young Scientists are encouraged to take the outdoors into their own hands.
The Summer Camp at Joppa Flats is hosted indoors in our air-conditioned classroom and outside in our backyard, as well as other local habitats. Each session includes a special off-site field trip that corresponds to the week's theme!
