Little Mountain is proud to announce a new and exciting way to make your child's summer both educational and fun. The Summer Ed-Venture is the perfect way to encourage a love of learning in your child. Over 2 weeks in summer, our students will go on daily excursions to UBC. There, we will perform highly interactive workshops with various departments at UBC. Each day will expose our students to new paths in learning with the hope that our students may find a subject which they are passionate about. On Monday, we may go to a Chemistry lab and see magic at a molecular level, while the next day may be spent setting up the perfect shot in a photography workshop. With so much exercise for the brain, we feel a balance needs to be established. Therefore, every day will involve an active component as well to guarantee the students obtain health in both their mind and body. To ensure that the amazing experiences our students have don't stay exclusively in the camp, we will get students to maintain a blog about their experiences, as well as allow parents and children access to an ever growing collection of photos from the camp. With a group of ambitious and professional teachers working hand in hand with UBC faculty, the Summer Ed-Venture will not fail to delight both parent and child alike!
