Summer Extended Experiences
Summer Address:

Summer Extended Experiences is designed to offer families the quality care they desire in an environment that children find exciting and engaging. Operating daily from 6:45 AM – 6:00 PM, SEE is best experienced as a full-time option for enriching childcare.
In order to facilitate an environment in which children can be optimally successful, they will be split into a smaller group of their peers for the majority of their day. This will allow for a more comprehensive customization of experiences for your child, as well as give children the opportunity to participate in age appropriate activities.
Activities at SEE include, but are not limited to, a rotation schedule of many choices each day for indoor time, plenty of outdoor time, nature hikes, playground time, organized group games, swimming, a weekly off-site event, arts, and crafts. A full description of each week’s themes and clubs can be found in the Weekly Themes section of this handbook.
All of our plans include a snack in the morning and/or afternoon, depending upon when your child is participating in SEE, as well as a weekly fieldtrip, all camp supplies, and an official SEE T-shirt. Our PM Only and AM and PM care plans also include lunch each day.
Flexible plans are available for full day, half day, and week by week. Although not designed for occasional, daily drop off care, there is flexibility for parents who may only need to utilize our services one or two weeks of the summer. There is no minimum number of weeks in which you must enroll your child for SEE 2010.
The main entrance for Summer Extended Experiences can be found at door 3 of Pleasantview’s South Campus.
SEE will NOT operate if a state of emergency is declared in Boone County.
