The 2010 Summer Regional Governor's School program offers rising 9th through 12th graders a two week intensive study in their choice of theatre, dance, guitar, instrumental jazz band, vocal music or the visual arts. This outstanding free program is available to all qualified applicants who are residents of Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Shenandoah, Warren counties and the City of Winchester. 
Application deadline is February 1, 2010. After submitting an application, students will be required to audition for admission to the program. Students will not be admitted without an audition. Audition dates are scheduled for March 20 & 21 at the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy. Questions? Contact Shirley Dunsmore.
The program will be held in Frederick County Monday through Friday - July 5-16, 2010 - with a closing performance and exhibition on the evening of Friday, July 16. All students must be able to attend the program in its entirety.
