Summer in the City - Music at San Jose State
Summer Address:

Our Music camp Staff includes college students majoring in music and middle school, high school, and college level music educators. No matter the age or experience of the staff member, all share enthusiasm, patience, a passion for music, and a commitment to excellence.
All campers will be supervised by staff members throughout the day. Resident campers (Senior camp only) will be staying in an on-campus dormitory and have 24 hour access to resident-camp staff.
Students will participate in Concert Band, Orchestra, or Choir (High School only) as a major performing ensemble. Students will have daily sectional rehearsals, chamber ensemble and elective classes. Elective choices include piano, music theory, improvisation, music appreciation, music technology/composition and jazz ensemble. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in master classes and take private lessons with SJSU faculty. All students will participate in a Friday afternoon chamber recital and Saturday afternoon concert.
