Surf Camp - Costa Rica

This program is designed for beginner through intermediate surfers who want to have the time of their life while traveling, learning, and experiencing surfing in the "Pura Vida" way. Teens will have an incredible summer camp adventure in the beautiful Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. By maintaining a safe 3:1 instructor to student ratio we will build the foundation needed to jump-start a lifelong love of surfing. Our professional instructors will provide personalized in-water instruction and support to strengthen and encourage campers. They will be your guides through one of the lushest, most diverse, and beautiful countries in the world.

Costa Rica has a tropical climate and enjoys year-round water temperatures around 80°F. The country produces some of the best waves in Central America along its coasts. There are over 50 well known, named surf breaks on just the west coast alone and just as many which are lesser-known. We will be surfing the Northern Pacific Coast and exploring several beach breaks in the area including Tamarindo, Avellanas, Playa Grande, and Langosta. Here you will find a diversity of setups, which receive gentle, slow rolling, Pacific swells that are perfect for the beginner surfer.

When we’re not surfing, we have some amazing activities planned that will be sure to keep you stoked. We’ll take a two day whitewater rafting trip, blasting down the Pacuare River. We'll explore an active volcano, Zip-line through an amazing Rainforest canopy where monkeys, iguanas and exotic frogs exist, receive 5 hours of Spanish instruction, and explore amazing pristine beaches.
