This camp is for teens who love to surf or who have always wanted to surf and explore the water through SCUBA. Our professional instructors will work with you to improve your skills and take you to the next level.  Surfing and SCUBA go hand in hand, giving you two ways to explore the ocean and all the wonders it has to offer. Wrightsville Beach provides perfect beginner waves and North Carolina was rated #1 by Scuba Diving magazine as the top diving destination in North America. 

 

You will be trained by some of the best divers on the east coast, and by the end of the program, you will receive your SCUBA Certification by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors PADI. Get a close-up look at the rays, tropical fish, corals, lichen, and other aquatic wildlife found in the waters off Wrightsville Beach. When you’re not spending time on the beach surfing, you’ll be on your way to becoming a PADI certified SCUBA Diver!

 

We'll stay on campus at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in dorm room suites. The friends you make at Surf Camp will be friends forever. Join teens from all over the world for an overnight adventure that will open your eyes to a new incredible marine biology view of our amazing oceans!
