Synapse Institute
Synapse Institute offers cutting-edge and meaningful summer programs for children ages 7-17. The programs will enable children and youth to tap into their inner creative resources through an integrated and hands-on learning experience. Students will be exposed to new media tools which they will be able to use to enhance their participation in school activities and lessons and for their own enrichment. The young talents will learn from a positive and nurturing peer community and highly qualified teachers. Each participant will have access to a computer. There will be a maximum of 15 students/class.
There will be four program strands: 1) Produce Cooking Videos with I-movie and Final Cut, 2) Compose, Arrange, Record in Garage Band, 3) Animate with Anime, & 4) Comics Writing & Design with Photoshop
