The EdmontonNorthern Lites Synchronized Skating Club is currently looking for new skaters for the 2006/2007 season. We have had a very successful season this past year with our open team winning a bronze medal at the 2006 BMO Financial Group Skate Canada Synchronized Championships in Hamilton, ON and we're looking to build upon that by adding some new skaters to our teams for the 2006/2007 season. The Edmonton Northern Lites Synchronized Skating Club is dedicated to furthering the sport of synchronized skating for all Skate Canada members with emphasis on sportsmanship, fun, fitness, and achievement at all ages and skill levels. We currently have 7 teams within our club, that offer everyone a place to skate! PRE JUVENILE: There is no minimum age, however skaters must be no older than 12. JUVENILE: 75% of skaters must be 12 and younger and 25% of skaters must be younger than 15. NOVICE: 75% of skaters must be 15 and younger and 25% of skaters must be younger than 19. JUNIOR: There are no age requirements. OPEN: There are no age requirements. (Skaters must have previous Synchronized Skating experience or Senior Silver skills or dance.) ADULT: Skaters must be older than 18 and 75% of team must be older than 25. MASTERS: Skaters must be older than 25 and 50% of team must be older than 35.
