THPRD Nature Camp
Summer Address:

Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District offers nature camps for kids from 4 to 14 years old at its two nature parks and various other natural areas in Beaverton, Oregon. Camp headquarters are at the Nature Park Interpretive Center where a majority of the day camps are offered at the trail head to the 223 acre Tualatin Hills Nature Park. These are camp programs in which children learn about nature, hike, observe critters, complete crafts, play games, and explore the outdoors. Half-day, full-day, and overnight options are availabe, depending on the age of the child.

When: Over winter break and on most scheduled Beaverton School District holidays and in-service days. Camps run from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

When: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m. throughout the summer. Camps run weekly over spring break and during the entire summer break.
What: A half-day camp in which campers explore the trails, create fun crafts, and get a close look at the animals that call the Tualatin Hills and Cooper Mountain Nature Parks home.Nature Explorers Camp
When: Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m. Camps run weekly over spring break and during the entire summer break.
What: Campers will hike, check out critters, play games, and see awesome natural sites on trips ranging from Mount Hood to the Oregon Coast. Three days will be spent at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park. During the summer, swimming on Fridays rounds out the fun!Mini Nature Camps
When: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m. Camps run during various weeks throughout the summer.
What: Mini-camps offer half-days filled with fun and adventure. Create arts and crafts, play games, make new friends, and explore the many beautiful areas of the Tualatin Hills Nature Park, Kaiser Woods Park, Greenway Park, or Cooper Mountain Nature Park.Camp Green

What: Full-day camps where kids are immersed in nature throughout the park and surrounding neighborhood. Campers will discover how their daily lives are connected to the environment and their natural surroundings. Campers will explore hidden pockets of nature at Greenway Park, Kaiser Woods Park, or Cooper Mountain Nature Park.Eco Adventurers Camp

What: These trips are geared for youth who have a desire to experience outdoor adventures while learning about nature and the earth sciences. Campers will learn essential backpacking and wilderness techniques while spending four days and three nights in an exciting location.
