Our summer camps are fun and educational! We incorporate art history, important art movements, artistic styles and artist information into our weekly themes while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We encourage individuality and will be glad to accommodate any specific interests of our students in class. Our Summer camps run for one week each and meet from 9a-noon. Cost is $129 per week and includes all materials. Ages 5-12.

June 7th-11th Summertime at the Beach The perfect kick-off to summer! Our beach-themed week will be filled with fun art projects and lessons like: how to draw sailboats, decorating seashells & sun visors, sand art and much more! 

June 14th-18th Harry Potter Week Attention all Wizards and Muggles! Hogwarts is no longer safe with Dumbledore captured and Voldemort lurking in the shadows. We must create our own wands and solve the daily riddle that has been left behind by Dumbledore. Each day will be a new challenge in our quest to free Dumbledore and unlock the secrets that plague Hogwarts.

June 21st-25th Planes, Trains & Automobiles All aboard! Transportation art at its finest! Your pilot, conductor or engineer will love this week of amazing adventures in transportation art. Along with learning to draw ships, trains, planes, etc we will also learn about transportation poster art that was a popular form of advertising in the late 19th to mid 20th centuries.

June 28th-July 2nd Pixie Dust & Princesses Bring your little diva to this fantabulous week of twinkle, tutu's & tiaras. Each day your princess will create something divalicious and learn about real influential princesses of the past. We will also explore the stories and artwork of Sleeping Beauty, Tinkerbell, Cinderella & more.

July 5th-9th Lions, Tigers & Bears, Oh My!  This week we will focus on the artwork of animals. What is your favorite animal? Each day you will learn how to draw & paint an animal of your choice. We will also learn what famous artists use animals as their main subject. 

July 12th-16th Cartooning & Caricature This week we will teach the student the basics of cartooning & caricature. How do you exaggerate and distort a face while still retaining the likeness in a caricature? In addition, we will look at all different styles of cartooning from Dora to The Transformers to Scooby Doo and more!

July 19th-23rd Cave Art In what part of the world is the most cave art found? What colors and materials were used? Cave art is a fascinating historical learning tool that we will not only study but imitate this week. We will take students on a global adventure from the caves of American Indians to the prehistoric caves of Europe to Egyptian cave art dating from the last Ice Age.

July 26th-30th Star Wars & Space 3..2..1 blastoff! Love planets, spaceships, aliens and anything space-related? This week we will learn about the universe and the wonders of the last frontier. Along with many fun Star Wars inspired activities we will create  galactic works of art.

August 2nd-5th Vikings - Their World & Gods Along with learning about the Vikings and their ships, culture and artwork, we will also explore runes: the alphabet of mystery. Runes were the letters with which the ancient Norse wrote until approximately 1000 A.D. This fascinating class will take the student back in time to the seafaring life of a Viking.  

August 9th-13th Roman Gladiators & Goddesses Students will learn what was popular art of the Roman time period. They will learn about the frescos found in Pompeii and the architecture of famous Roman buildings like the Colosseum and the Pantheon. Our artistic focus will be on mural art and imitating the two-dimensional artistic style of the period by painting Roman subjects of the student's choice.

August 16th-20th Under the Sea Be a mermaid or merman for the week and create colorful works of ocean art to take home and enjoy. Each day we will have fun ocean-related activities and will spend time learning about the human impact on our oceans and all that is living in them.
