Wrangler Shelley O’Neal ,  will Direct this program for teenagers who  love being around horses, don’t mind hard work, and are ready for a week of  all horseback riding, all the time!  Plus early morning round-ups, feeding, grooming, saddling, improving riding and rodeo skills in the ring and then---taking amazing trail rides into the hills.  You’ll enjoy relaxing free swims, marshmallow roasts and having the best week of your life!

A typical day will consist of feeding, catching, grooming, saddling, unsaddling, taking care of tack and learning to better understand and communicate with horses.  We will work in the ring to hone basic and advanced riding skills as well as to increase agility in barrel racing and pole bending.  Two hour and more advanced day long trail rides through the hill country will be part of the Clinic program.

No formal horseback training is necessary for applying, but you must be willing to work hard, and be highly motivated to improve your horsemanship and riding skills.
