The Mountain Workshop's "Awesome Adventures" and "Trailmark Expeditions" are more than just summer camp.

Entering into our 32nd year, we are proud and excited to again offer Awesome Adventures and Trailmark Expedition summer camps for kids who have a love of the outdoors and are looking for an adventure they'll never forget!

are cool summer adventure day camps for kids ages 8 to 14, with a different activity and a new location planned for each day.  You'll be introduced to an amazing week filled with outdoor activities that you'll find rewarding and challenging, including hiking, rock climbing, caving, kayaking, canoeing, whitewater rafting, tubing, sailing, or a high ropes course.  For our oldest groups, you may even find yourself on a two night camping trip, sleeping under the stars.  Our day camps have pickup locations in Ridgefield, New Canaan or Westport, CT and travel to locations within Connecticut and New York for a fun filled day.

 

Trailmark Expeditions offer a wide variety of exciting and challenging overnight adventure expedition trips for teens ages 11 to 17 that range from 7 to 14 days.  Destinations throughout the northeast, including the Adirondacks, the Berkshires, Maine, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, will be the backdrop for an adventure that you will remember for the rest of your life!  Choose from backpacking, canoeing, sea kayaking, whitewater rafting, sailing, caving, rock climbing or biking.  With the guidance of our trained and certified leaders, you'll see some incredible sites, meet great people and learn new skills.  Prior experience is not needed for any of our adventure expedition trips, only your good attitude and your love of the outdoors.
