Located on the campus of The Putney School, set on an idyllic hilltop in Southern Vermont, The Putney School Summer Programs offer a broad range of workshops for students age 14 to 17 in the visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing. Students choose one morning workshop and one afternoon workshop or one full-day workshop for each three-week session. Evening activities provide a further opportunity for students to develop their creative work. We are a close-knit community, removed from the urban environment, giving students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the arts, writing and music. In addition, each summer, a group of students from around the world join us to study English in our ESL program and are fully integrated into our arts community.
