The Second City Training Centers - Las Vegas
Spend part of your summer at The Second City where you can work out your creative muscles in our improvisation and comedy writing boot camps for ages 12-18. The Second City has launched the careers of countless actors, writers, directors and producers, and has influenced American comedy like no other theater. Our summer programs attract students from all over the country and abroad. Learn new skills, meet new friends and enjoy Las Vegas in the summer. Students are grouped by age and experience. Boot camps are held at The Second City Training Centers in Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Programs and schedules vary by location.
Improvisation training helps build skills such as listening, team building, communications, self-confidence, problem solving and empathy.
Learn the basics of sketch comedy scenes, the building block of any Second City show. You'll study classic Second City scenes, use improvisation to develop scenes and write original sketches. (Previous improv experience is recommended for those who are not concurrently taking improvisation
