YOUNG ACTORS ENSEMBLE (ages 12-17)

The Young Actors Ensemble nurtures the creativity, develops the vocal and physical skills, and enhances the young actors ability to perform and work together as part of an ensemble.

Utilizing theatre games, pantomimes, improvisations, ensemble work, monologues and scene study from both contemporary and classical literature, students expand their concentration, observation skills, ability and enjoyment in performing. The program culminates in a final showing of their work at the end of each session.

Movement, Voice, and Improvisation classes augment the summer program and support the work in the acting classes.Targeted instruction to free and expand physical response as well as vocal range and clarity encourage the young actors to explore and develop their instrument.

Through the auditions, our instructors carefully create dynamic ensembles that enable individual students to develop to their fullest potentials.
