Former professional champion, teacher, and surf journalist Jason Borte has been passing his love for the ocean to students since 1996. His program, known as The Surf School, offers an exciting curriculum focusing on water safety, ocean awareness, and surfing fundamentals. The camp venue at Gilgo Beach provides a safe, user-friendly atmosphere that is ideal for beginner and intermediate surfers. Guest speakers, including surf industry representatives and professional athletes, add valuable insight to the surfing experience. Mini-camps are also available, and private lessons for any age and group size can be arranged by appointment.
