DescriptionBack to top

The Wayfinder Experience is a completely unique program. Combining theatre, sports, teambuilding, fine arts, play and traditional camp elements, our workshops provide one of the most exciting, fun, healthy and positive experiences available for children ages 6-16. Our seasoned staff of professional actors, musicians, teachers and artists leads participants through a series of interactive programs that teach trust, leadership, community and respect. These programs take the form of side-splittingly funny improvisational theatre training, high-energy non-competitive physical games, fascinating mask and movement workshops, props and sets crafting and creative expression. The culmination of this curriculum is The Adventure Game an interactive story, usually medieval in nature, where participants create characters and relationships and live out a story pulled from myth and legend. A participant can be a noble knight searching desperately for a holy relic, or a beautiful fairy princess magically healing wounded soldiers, or anything their imagination can create. From registration until departure, our staff provides a completely safe environment with 24-hour supervision, an on-site EMT, and employees certified in first aid, CPR, and RTE. Our safety record is outstanding, and we pride ourselves in assessing risk and keeping all our kids healthy and happy. Our Wellness department monitors the emotional well-being of all participants, creating a safe atmosphere where kids feel accepted, comfortable, and supported. Almost 100% of the children who come to one of our events end up returning for more. While the bulk of the Wayfinders (as our regular campers have been dubbed) come for our week-long introductory camps and 12-day advanced camps in the summer, we also offer 1-day and 3-day events in the winter, spring, and fall. We travel all around the East Coast to do birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, and special events. We can be seen at local festivals and get-togethers, and weve started to take up residencies in local public and private schools. Check out our Schedule page for all the upcoming events, and register today!
