Oberlin's exquisite 440-acre campus, located just 35 southwest of Cleveland, provides outstanding facilities, including the Allen Memorial Art Museum and beautiful Hall Theater. Founded in 1833, Oberlin College is renowned for its Music Conservatory and has a very popular theater program. Oberlin College also holds the distinction of being the first coeducational college in the United States.
This US Performing Arts Musical Theater Camp is the essence of the "triple threat." Campers will take daily classes in voice, acting and dance. Rehearsals and class preparation will be part of the fun as well as the focus. Evenings will be spent in watching videos and developing critical analysis of performance through the history of musical theater. The week will end with a performance in the Hall Theater Annex.
Campers will enjoy the recreational opportunities of the campus, including swimming and bowling. There will also be an evening social activity during the week.
