VISIONS S.T.A.R.S. will begin operating a summer camp in the summer of 2010. This program is founded on the performing arts.  In the morning campers will work on reading and math activities.  After a free period and lunch, the remainder of each day will be dedicated to Science, Technology, Arts, or Responsibility (S.T.A.R.S).  During the Responsibility days STAR’s will work on establishing a business and money management.  Twice weekly, STAR’s will visit an educational or recreational establishment (museum or movie).  Our program will operate with 2-3 teachers.  Our camp partners with various business and community leaders fostering a relationship that helps campers understand the importance of education.  At the conclusion of the summer camp, S.T.A.R.S. will present a musical for the community encompassing all the students have learned.  Our summer camp is opened for all children between the ages of 5-15.  S.T.A.R.S. is an experience that can be afforded by all.
