The camp will be held at The Nanuet Mall. Bus service from NY state, NYC and NJ is available for independent transportation (parents will not have to transport students). The learning environment will be clean and neat, temperature and atmosphere carefully controlled and food at students expense is available throughout the mall by food services businesses. At first, heavy emphasis will be concentrated on photography principles, the different cameras available to professionals, how to use them efficiently and professionally. As the students will video tape their own projects and group projects, they will proceed to edit the videos, create DVDs and take them home to use in their portfolios.

The key idea for this camp is flexibility and cooperation with parents of students. The intention is for 8 full weeks ( 5 day week) of camp ($75/day), $375/week . Payment of the full 8 weeks is expected as reservations for students. Reservations is first come first awarded, there is a LIMIT of 60 students total. However, some families travel as a whole family so allowances for 2 weeks of absence from camp will be considered and 6 payed weeks of camp will be accepted. The actual start and end dates have not been set yet. A survey of all people who reserve a spot for their kids will determine actual start and end dates.
