The Vineyard Camp is an international Christian sports camp for boys and girls six to sixteen years old, offering 40 different activities in North Carolina and Hawaii, dedicated to excellence, and the development and growth of young children and teens. Every year campers from all over the United States and from approximately 23 different countries come and enjoy everything that The Vineyard has to offer.
The main camp is located on Brown Mountain in western North Carolina and our satellite camp, dedicated to aquatic activities, is located in Owahoo, Hawaii. The Vineyard offers a traditional camping experience with a superb sports program and an unparalleled choice of activities.
Campers choose their own activities including horseback-riding, archery, crafts, pottery, waterskiing, tennis, lacrosse, fencing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, rock climbing rappelling, high ropes, swimming, and more. Once you enter our camp gates you know that you have come into a very special place. The natural beauty of the mountains coupled with exciting activities offered at camp will give your child an experience of a lifetime.
Parents from all over the world choose The Vineyard Camp because they are impressed by the standards we set and maintain, the unparalleled variety of activities, and our amazing camper to staff ratio (two (2) staff for every three (3) campers – best camper to staff ratio in the nation). The most important reason why parents choose us year after year is the quality of our counselors and what we provide for the development of a young boy or girl.

Weekend Celebrations After Camp is Over
The camp offers weekend celebrations after the summer season concludes. These weekends provide an excellent opportunity for prospective campers and their parents to visit the camp, meet the staff, view our facilities, and experience our program. The weekends are as follows:
Oktoberfest
This is typically offered the second or third weekend in October. Events include pumpkin carving, apple cider making, hayrides, bonfires, horseback riding, pig pickings, and hikes through the woods.
New Year's Celebration
Offered the weekend of New Year's, this is our most popular weekend. Those arriving early are treated to ice-skating. The weekend includes a dance, a countdown to New Year's Day, movies, tournaments, and winter games.
