Summer Address:

DSU's Financial Network Trading Room replicates a real-world trading experience and functions as a laboratory and classroom. Televisions offer access to live coverage of financial news and real-time tickers and stock boards provide students with the latest financial information. Each of the 20 dual-monitor workstations in the Trading Room is equipped with software needed for finance-related activities. The Camp will include hands-on exercises, competitions and breaks. Lunch & Snacks will be provided. The program dam will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Bus transportation will be available from New Castle County if there are enough campers.
Participants will enjoy a fun learning environment; learn how to trade in simulated stock markets; learn about time value of money, portfolio theory, and how to use a spreadsheet as well as interpret financial statements. Additionally, the students will study market efficiency and inefficiencies, build models to analyze and value stocks as well as learning statistical, behavorial and other financial insights from simulated trading plus much more.
