We are an accredited educational and recreational center licensed by the Government of Galicia, and located in the historically rich Ulloa district, in the province of Lugo. Our camps consist of a two-week sessions during which students participate in language classes, sports and cultural activities that center around the regional Spanish culture and natural surroundings. Activities include the making of traditional crafts, processing of foods such as cheese, bread, jams, and an exploration of the area natural resources and ecosystem. Field trips are planned to further enrich their experience. Also campers participate in different types of sports and games with their Spanish camp mates. At the core of all the activities our camp program aims to emphasize the relevance of the connection of natural environment and culture. Thus we develop themes of respect for the environmental resources, and how to maintain good practices for recycling, organic gardening, and alternative forms of clean and accessable energy. Summer camp students are hosted with other Spanish teens in our large stone farmhouse. Additional buildings include three stone cabins, a nature classroom, and an exercise and relaxation center. The camp ground extends over 400 acres, and features ancient oak woods standing on rolling hills, watered by the ancestral river Ull through its carved winding path.
