WINDSOR MOUNTAIN INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP (gr. 2-8) is a caring, creative community of 175 boys and girls with 65 counselors from all over the world. Nestled in a 4000 acre pristine lakeside wilderness preserve, the camp offers ESL, boating, sports, theatre, videography, arts and crafts such as stained glass, pottery and batik, as well as a wide range of outdoor adventure including rock-climbing, camping, sailing, kayaking, and a world class ropes course.
Music and Theatre festivals highlight on-going activities such as guitar, Jamaican drumming, song-writing, ethnic dance and original multi-media theatre creations.
Our 2-week New England Adventure program for students in grades 6-8 is available as an extension to our Camp session or as a stand-alone program, offering canoeing, hiking, rock-climbing, sea kayaking, camping and farm-stay adventures.
Established in 1961, in cooperation with United Nations families, Windsor Mountain leads young people to discover the magic of creating friendships across cultures. Last summer Windsor Mountain represented participants from more than 25 countries and a variety of backgrounds and cultures, which gives campers an opportunity to learn about, understand and make lifetime friends with others from diverse backgrounds within the U.S. and around the world.

OUR BRIDGE STUDENT TRAVEL PROGRAMS (gr. 8-12) provide authentic experiences involving community building, environmental awareness, leadership, language development and cross-cultural understanding. Students gain global perspectives on complex social, economic, cultural and ecological issues facing our partnering communities.
2010 destinations are Peru, Southern Africa, China, Caribbean, Puerto Rico and New England.
Community Service Hours are awarded for all our programs, and recent service projects have included developing camp and learning activities for children, helping to build community centers, homes and playgrounds, clearing wilderness trails, installing water and irrigation systems, constructing and cultivating community gardens, working with disabled young adults, working in reforestation projects, assisting local farmers, cleaning fish ponds, and organizing food and medical brigades.
Our students return with enthusiasm for reciprocal exchanges of powerful learning and meaningful work that serves vital needs of the communities we join. We approach all programs with an eye towards providing students a thorough understanding of a new place and helping them transfer that experience in a way that that helps them effect their own communities in meaningful and enduring ways.
