Sierra Friends Camp: (age 9-14)

Overnight sessions are 1 and 2 weeks
Outdoor adventure in the beautiful Tahoe national forest, environmental and peace education, and a nurturing camp community make Sierra Friends Camp a fun and accepting place where kids can be themselves, play, make friends, and learn about the world around them. Weekly 2-night backpacking, camping, service, and art trips give campers valuable fun and gently challenging adventures in some of the most beautiful places in Northern California. Camp activities include backpacking, swimming, zany games, crafts, environmental and peace education, capture the flag, relay races, and becoming superheroes and/or pirates.

Woolman Teen Leadership Camp (age 15-16)
2 week adventures for teens
Adventures include hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, leadership development, service, farming, and more! Teens learn new skills like trip planning and leadership, trail cooking, native plant identification, and permaculture. Leadership opportunities for working with the younger campers at Sierra Friends Camp. Place-based education to give fascinating insights about the natural world we call home. Service trips combine good work with interesting learning and great fun. Amazing friendships that last a lifetime!

Woolman Camps are programs of the Woolman Friends School, a nonprofit educational community that nurtures the seeds of peace, social justice and environmental sustainability in today's youth. While not a religious camp, the Quaker influence means that all people are treated with respect, differences are resolved peacefully, and stewardship of the earth is an important value.
