World Horizons Director, Stuart Rabinowitz, will lead a group of students on a photo tour of England and Iceland and at the same time will do some community service when possible.

Photography forces us to study the world in new and different ways, often revealing details and connections we might otherwise overlook. Try your hand at capturing an ancient Roman city, gothic cathedrals, beautiful countryside, people, icebergs, geysers and more through the lens of your camera. In addition, Stuart will teach the art of “environmental portraiture”. All levels of expertise are welcome.

Stuart studied photography in England and at Rochester Institute of Technology, and operated a commercial photography studio in Connecticut from 1975-2002. He also taught photography at art and private secondary schools in

On this summer trip, you will visit York Minster in the Roman City of York, the Yorkshire Moors, east coast fishing villages as well as some time in London. The trip will conclude with a two day stopover in Reykjavik, Iceland, the “Land of The Midnight Sun”, to photograph some of the most fantastic scenery, icebergs, volcanic landscapes and much more.
