YMCA Camp Hi-Rock
YMCA Camp Hi-Rock is a traditional coed sleep-away camp nestled among more than 1,000 protected acres of forest in the Berkshire Mountains in the southwest corner of Massachusetts with our own private 90 acre lake. Campers stay in cabins with a central bathhouse. Campers can stay for as short as one week or as long as eight. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Transportation is offered from southern Connecticut, New York, and Boston. While at Hi-Rock, a camper will be able to choose from over 30 program areas including archery, basketball, canoeing, creative crafts, creative writing, dance, drama, fishing, hiking, journalism, kayaking, nature, outdoor living skills, range sports, rocketry, rock climbing, ropes course, sailing, snorkeling, swimming, tennis, water skiing, windsurfing, and more! We also offer four-week Leader In Training programs just for teens. Our main philosophy at Hi-Rock is to instill caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We provide an environment that allows friendships to thrive. Our staff strives to identify those areas in which each child excels and help that child feel good about him or herself. We provide solid role models through sensitive, knowledgeable, and professional staff members.
