It is the mission of YMCA Camp Kern to provide a safe, fun, magical, and educational experience for all guests and children that provides the opportunity for growth in character, mind, spirit, and body.
At YMCA Camp Kern, we build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities through programs that teach the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Our character development focus describes how we operate as a YMCA - we don't just teach swimming, canoeing, climbing, horseback riding and more, we teach values through these programs.
