Whether you are looking for a wonderful summer camp, a wholesome family camp, or an exciting adventure camp, YMCA Camp Pinewood is the place for you! Located 17 miles Northeast of Muskegon, MI, in the heart of the Manistee National Forest, YMCA Camp Pinewood offers a wide range of programming for ages 7-17.

Our programming includes: archery, arts/crafts, backpacking, canoeing, climbing, drama, guitar lessons, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking, ropes courses, sailing, sports, swimming, team building, teen leadership, and more! Our well trained staff comes from around the country and around the world, creating a diverse environment of positive role models for your child. With 200 acres of dense woodland, a 45 acre private lake, and all of our wonderful staff and programs, Camp Pinewood offers your child the summer of a lifetime!

Nothing compares to a week at Camp Pinewood... unless it's two weeks.

Your camper will bunk in one of 16 heated cabins, each housing no more than 10 children of the same age and gender, plus two college-age counselors. Boys and girls each have their own central washrooms. All meals are prepared on-site and served in the lakeside dining hall. Our college-age staff includes many international counselors, and all are thoroughly trained and certified (see activities). Their greatest skill is promoting new friendships.
