Burgess is an overnight camp that offers one- and two-week sessions for boys ages 7 to 15. We are located on Cape Cod on beautiful Spectacle Pond, across from our sister Camp Hayward. Our brother-sister structure allows Burgess campers to benefit from an all-boy environment while also experiencing safe and positive opportunities for co-ed social interaction.

As soon as you arrive at Camp Burgess you can feel the spirit of fun, excitement and challenge that develops through being independent, learning new skills and building lifelong friendships.  Our staff from around the world lead campers in developing valuable lifeskills and having fun. Our natural setting fosters an appreciation and respect for the environment, ourselves and others.

Generations of campers have spent time at our traditional brother/sister overnight camp located on Cape Cod, surrounded by 300 acres of woodland and three lakes. There’s no such thing as a typical day at Camp, but our activities include sailing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, tubing, water-skiing, nature, arts & crafts, horseback riding, music, archery, basketball, soccer, tennis, outdoor pursuits, drama, mountain biking and dance. We also have a 3 day colored competition, a legendary carnival, campfires, talent shows, night time adventures and much more. One and two week sessions are available as well as our one-week coed specialty camp. Our Summer Teen program provides the opportunity for campers to try an Adventure Trip, Community Service Learning Project or develop new skills in our Outdoor Leadership courses. Activities include whitewater rafting, surfing, scuba diving, summer skiing, mountain biking, bicycle touring, kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, and backpacking. 6 day and 13 day trips travel to Hawaii, Alaska, California, West Virginia, Oregon, The Cape and Islands, and Canada. Scholarships available.
