YMCA Kanawana offers a diverse range of programs and activities designed to meet the developing needs of our campers (co-ed, ages 7-17) .  Located in St-Sauveur , Quebec, Canada (1 hour from Montreal, Quebec)  our site is composed of 550 acres of pristine wilderness with three private lakes.  Our programs are guided by the traditional YMCA Camping principles of developing the whole child in Spirit, Mind, and Body emphasizing  fun, cooperation, appreciation for the environment, creativity, challenge, imagination, and learning - all aimed at the positive growth, enjoyment and developmental needs of each child. Leadership Programs for youth 15-17 are offered emphasizing skill development, outdoor adventure and counselor training (8 week program).

Please note: Campers who are staying for 2 consecutive sessions are welcome to stay at camp for the 3 nights BETWEEN sessions during a Change-Over period (Friday afternoon until Monday mid-morning). (see below for details).
