Young Vincents Summer Fine Art Program for Kids at Carrie Curran Art Studios provides the stimulating and educational curriculum of a working studio. WEEKLY THEMES: Each week students develop and build their artistic skills in drawing, painting and mixed media. The weekly thematic focus will inspire every student's creativity! DRAWING: Young artists develop their drawing skills and techniques using graphite, charcoal, pen & ink and pastels. Includes introduction to the art of cartooning! PAINTING: Students learn to express themselves while painting with acrylic paint on canvas and with watercolors on fine art paper. MIXED MEDIA and 3D: Artists enjoy experimenting and exploring with new materials, mixing media and discovering new ways to express themselves and their ideas. INSTRUCTORS: Students are taught by experienced artists/instructors including Carrie Curran, creator and former director of the Scottsdale Artists' School Youth Academy. CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED.
