iO West
Summer Address:

Since its inception in 1981, the iO Theatre has been an innovative training ground for actors, writers, and performers of all types in the art of Long Form Improv. i.O. West’s classes are conducted in a nurturing, encouraging environment and emphasize the importance of individual creativity as well as committed, supportive ensemble work.
The children’s classes will introduce your child to basic concepts of improvisation; agreement, making strong choices, supporting your partner, exploring pattern, and heightening. Using short-form improv games and scene work we will gradually work our way to the Harold: IO’s signature long-form based on a single suggestion.
