General intuoduction

Our Summer Camp is designed for non-native Putonghua speakers to improve  their Putonghua while also experiencing life in Shanghai and most  importantly having fun!The program includes Putonghua lessons, art and music activities in Putonghua in the morning,sports and signtseeing in the afternoon as well as a full day excursion each week to surrounding areas.The course is designed for parents to accompany their children in Shanghai during the course in order to allow students to adapt to Shanghai easily.

Chinese Immersion

Students are immersed in a Putonghua speaking environment.Besides language lessons,other activities are also conducted in Putonghua ,so that student's language skill can be reinforced.During the course we provide opportunities for students to interact with local students as well as to explore Shanghai. The focus is on oral communication skills and building children's confidence with expressing themselves in Chinese.

• July 14- August 3 2008 (3 wks),
• July 14- July 27 2008 (2 wks)
• July 21-August 3 2008 (3 wks)

Levels: From total beginner to upper intermediate
