The Summer Camp at Deer Hollow Farm is a perfect summer choice to let your child get up close and personal with livestock, including sheep, goats, cows and pigs, all while enjoying hikes on the lush, wilderness trails of the open space preserve. Let your kids go back in time to the daily life and culture of the Native American Ohlone village and spend the night here to conclude their week. The Farm offers weeklong
day camps for youth ages 6-14 years old. Find out more details about this awesome camp by going here.

Take a walk on the wild side at Shoreline Wildlife Refuge Area and Trail. This 750-acre park provides a beautiful glimpse into nature as well as plenty of action-filled activities! Sail over the 50-acre salt lake with windsurfing classes or boat rentals. If your child is an adventurer, bike or hike one of several trails that connect Mountain View to the Palo Alto Badlands and Bay Loop Trail. Once you're ready for a break, relax along the shoreline with a picnic, or dine at a casual lunch and breakfast establishment nearby.

Lay back while your kid ramps up at the Rengstorff Park and Pool. This location is ideal for toddlers and teenagers alike. Watch your older kid master some moves at the skate park or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Younger children will love the multiple playgrounds available, and toddlers will delight in the opportunity to dig up some dirt at the sandbox. Fire up the BBQ grill and bring everyone together at the grassy area picnic tables. Swimlessons for all ages are also available.

Get your tech on at the Computer History Museum. As you step into this digital wonderland, watch as your children learn how the first computer came to be. See them draw inspiration from the very first computer pioneers, such as Charles Babbage and his first complete Babbage Engine. Gadget-savvy kids will love to look at the computer history timeline and engage in one of the many interactive exhibits. Group reservations are open to the public, and children 12 and under are free!
