Make a splash this summer in Reno, Nevada. Discover the fun at Wild Island, teleport to space at the Fleischmann Planetarium, or explore outdoors at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park.

Dive into the excitement at Wild Island. With a plethora of activities for the entire family, your kids may not know where to start. Ride a slippery slide like the Red Viper down to a pool of refreshing water, orswimthe day away in the Montego Bay Wave Pool. Shoot water cannons at Hurricane Cove and try your hand at a game of glow-in-the-dark bowling. Your family will love the laser mazes and arcade games, as well as swinging a club in a few rounds of mini-golf. Complete with billiards and even go-kart racing, it may take more than one day to enjoy everything.

Blast off to the Fleischmann Planetarium. Your kids will love to learn all about space in the Star Theater, where the rich colors and audiovisual effects are out of this world. Cultivate their inner scientist in the Fulldome Planetarium, which features family shows about planets, stargazing, and stellar myths and misconceptions. The music and light show, featuring Pink Floyd's "The Wall", is free for planetarium members and fun for the whole family. Children 12 and under only pay a $5 entrance fee.

Get in tune with nature at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. This wetland habitat offers just about every outdoor activity under the sun. Bike the trails with your kids in tow, or lace up yourhikingboots and explore the sagebrush-lined paths. Play a game of horseshoe or pack a box of tackle and fish the day away. If your family starts to get hungry, barbecue up some delicious grub and have a picnic. With playgrounds, volleyball courts, and even a museum, this area is sure to offer up a hearty serving of fun.
