Go back in time to the Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks, Ausable Chasm. Have fun pointing out uniquely named rock formations like Elephant's Head and Jacob's Well along the scenic family trails. Families can also sit back and relax on a floating tour of the chasm. For a once in a lifetime experience, join a guided Lantern tour to view the chasm at night or let the kids try out the new rock climbing routes during the day.

With over 100 interactive exhibits, Echo Lake Aquarium and Science Center is worth a whole day's visit. The center aims to educate about the lake habitat and inspire all ages to know that they can make a difference. The Lake Champlain aquatic display includes 2 40-pound Lake Sturgeon fish with feedings every week, where kids can meet the animal care staff and ask questions about the animals' diet and veterinary care. Kids can also have fun visiting Frog World to see 15 species of frogs or taste fame by being a guest meteorologist.

Burn rubber at Airborne Park Speedway in the Adirondack Park region, where NASCAR approved cars speed around the track all season long. Kids can feed their own need for speed and learn some racing skills at the Go-Kart Fun Track. The fun track also has competitive racing every Wednesday night, so children can get a chance to taste the glory of winning a race.
