The National Civil War Museum not only has many artifacts from this troubling time in US history, but also presents video shows and life-like mannequins in educational presentations and dioramas. Kids can take part in a hands-on presentation on camp life to learn how soldiers spent their down time. There is also a special scavenger hunt of the whole museum you can request before hand that's sure to keep your children busy and well-informed.

Indulge in "the sweetest place on earth", Hershey Park, where even the streetlights are shaped like the infamous Hershey chocolate kisses. Ride roller coasters named for chocolate bars and, if you are brave, go down a wet and wild water ride like the spinning tunnel that drops park-goers out the bottom! A visit wouldn't be complete without going to Hershey's Chocolate World. Take your little ones to the bake shoppe for sweet culinary creations such as signature Hershey cupcakes and brownies.

Bond with your kids at Let's Pretend, a center designed for parents and their kids to play together. The aim is to be free of the usual television or video game distractions and have some plain ol' fun! Families can pretend and act with each other in the post office, grocery store, animal hospital, and dollhouse sets. Most importantly, the owners of this play land want to hear the words, "Let's pretend to be" The rest is up to you!
