Coppell is a great place to play with many pavilions, parks, and seven miles of trails. The family will love spending time by the duck pond or in a nature park, getting to know all that Texas has to offer. Coppell is a young city and its proximity to one of the world's busiest airports keeps it modern, fresh, and thriving. Their large farmers’ market is constantly providing fresh vegetables, fruits, and farm to fork delights. Look at our online directory for Coppell and find a summer camp that the kids will love!

Go underwater at SEA LIFE Aquarium, which has a 360 degree underwater tunnel, rescued sea turtles, a shark mission to face your fears, and thousands of sea creatures. Some of the creatures include seahorses, giant pacific octopus, clownfish, jellyfish, and black tip reef shark. The interactive rock pool is safe and kids can touch sea stars, crabs, sea urchins, or horseshoe crabs, while learning fascinating facts about them. Events change monthly and can be themes like Rainforest Adventure or Underwater Pumpkin Carving! Every Tuesday is Toddler Tuesday, when a parent and two toddlers are $15. SEA LIFE also takes part in marine conservation by helping with seahorse breeding, sea turtle re-homing, seal rescue, and recycling.

Energize up with Texas Dreams Gymnastics. Their camps are a welcome retreat from the hot, Texan sun, as the 30,000 square foot playground is kept cool throughout the game. Kids can still work up a sweat playing games, taking part in contests, and learning skills. When the kids start to get tired, instructors will engage their minds with water color, craft, or even sidewalk chalk murals. Texas Dream Gymnastics also hosts Bricks 4 Kidz camp, or the LEGO camps, where kids can build, create, and learn.

Tame a wild river with Trinity River Kayak, where all trips begin in Coppell. You'll be given a paddling orientation, and then it's on the water for some kayaking, until your shuttle back to the start point. Along the way, you may see some heron, beavers, or hawks! There are various routes to choose from including The Blast, which is 5 miles, and The Iron Man, a 10 mile trip out. For families who want to keep it slow, there are also fishing kayaking trips. The company provides bait, lures, fishing guides, and licenses. The Trinity River is full of catfish, bass, and trout, so you can try your luck catching dinner for the family!
