Camp Adelaide

For over 50 years, Camp Adelaide has played host to thousands of girls from around the world. Located on Black Lake minutes from Haliburton Ontario, Adelaide is the perfect place for your camper to play-play-play in our safe surroundings. Girls don't have to be a member of Girl Guides to join in the fun!

Nestled amongst 500 acres in the Haliburton Highlands, Adelaide's lovely, sandy waterfront is a perfect swimming, canoeing or paddle boating location, while its sprawling trails, woodlands and boardwalk invite campers to explore, learn and grow. Adelaide is a gorgeous location and easily accessible. 

Campers stay either in indoor or tent accommodation.  At Adelaide indoor accommodations are campers in a room with three other girls in bunk beds. For tent accommodations each tenting site hosts large canvas tents on platforms which 6-8 campers stay in. Nearby, a centrally located campfire pit for campfire songs and snacks.

Our staff team is a happy, qualified and safety conscious group of young women who will ensure that every day is exciting, rewarding and packed with fun! We're sure your camper will come home with lots of positive comments about these friendly role-models.

Awesome things to do... Campers will participate in age-appropriate activities that may include: archery, boating activities, dance, daily swimming, drama, hiking/geocaching, crafts, visual arts, camp-wide games, and the water trampoline. Each day will start with programming selected for your camper's age group and then will mix in a whole bunch of individual choice activities. It's the best way for girls to hang out with girls their age, sample all of our programming and also choose their own adventure. 

Most campers at Adelaide attend our traditional camp programs, these programs are excellent ways to fit in all that the camp has to offer. The program is different every year based on campers’ ages.
