In my first year of this wonderful camp, I had friends who accepted me so easily into my cabin. There are so many good people at this camp, and so I proclaimed it my second home (Though it is close to a first home). There are many activities, and sometimes you get to go on trips, such as sailing and mountain climbing. Many verities of people would enjoy this camp, and quite frankly, it is a good way to get your daughter of their cellphone. But, I must warn you, after your daughter has gone here, she is an independent and capable woman. As a camper myself, I get annoyed when my dad still cuts my spaghetti up (I hate it!). Probably the only way your daughter can get homesick is when, on the weekends you can see her at this camp. Since I live so far away from Vermont, my parents can't come and visit me, so in turn I never do get homesick. There are spiders but the only kind I can think of that is in the camp is a daddy long legs. We have a brother camp named Sangamon, which means "plenty to eat" in Native American. The food there is all organic and non GMO (don't even get me started how good the cheese is). The activities there include: farm, horseback riding, garden, pond for swimming and kayaking, pottery, weavery, archery, and there are so much more I forgot. Your daughter creates there own schedule every day. Thank you for reading! Best, Tori
