Camp Piankatank

Virtual Camp Piankatank Sun December 20 - Wed January 20, 2021

Join Camp Piankatank in their 2020 Virtual Winter Run/Walk 5K! You are welcome to run it, or walk it anytime between December 20th through January 20th. All you have to do is complete the 5k using an app, smart watch or treadmill then upload your results to have an official finisher time.

The 5k is to support Camp Piankatank and our mission, which is “Developing dynamic disciples for Christ through relationships and adventure.” Through Camp Piankatank's different programs we are dedicated to develop dynamic disciples for Christ, which means that those that come to camp are taught how to take what they learn and share it with the people they are around! Camp does this through relationships with the counselors and staff, as well as, through adventure. The staff hired are people who reflect and represent Christ well. They show the campers and guests what it means to be a follower of Christ while building meaningful relationships with them. Adventure is all the other aspects of camp! No matter what the campers do whether it is going down the zip-line, canoeing to our island, or just swimming in the pool, they are taught how adventure connects them to Christ and they learn how to take what they learn and apply it to their own lives. By signing up for this 5k it is helping Camp Piankatank as a Christian nonprofit host thousands of people annually and help us to continue living out our mission to make disciples. (Matt. 28:19-20)

Every participant that signs up before November 20th will receive a t-shirt, as well as, a medal. People are still welcome to sign up after November 20th but will only receive a finisher medal. The shirts will be sent out and received by December 20th, so participants will get the chance to wear their shirts during the race! The finisher medals will be sent out to everyone on January 20th.
