Families can attend any of the weeklong sessions from July to August every summer. Modern cabins, washroom facilities and buffet style dining set in a rustic setting with a connection to nature. Unplug, unwind or be adventurous and go canoeing, kayaking or hiking with one of our skilled instructors.
Children attend morning programs, divided into close age groups, encouraging creativity, discovery, appreciation for the natural world and plain old fun. Parents have mornings off to relax, read a good book, hike, take a trip to town etc. You can follow all of our planned activities or simply do your own thing. Afternoons are for families, with supervised swim time, sports, crafts and games. Settle around the fire in the evening for campfire songs or the daring night games for kids.
Children gain independence and confidence on Overnight Night. With three levels, kids can grow from year to year in their camping skill. (PJ Party Age infant-6 (not overnight), Presby Camp site age 6-9, Kippechewan Camp site 10+). (Ages for each camping site may change depending on group sizes and ages)
Leadership training is offered with our Leader In Training Program (L.I.T. 1 age 14+ one week, L.I.T. 2 age 15+ two weeks). LIT teaches independence, survival skills and teamwork, perfect for those kids in Outdoor Ed. class, camping enthusiasts or those wanting to learn survival basics.(May be eligible for Duke of Edinburgh and other leadership programs)
Camp Wasaga is open to everyone from infant to teenager, parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. We are a fully accessible camp with wheelchair access to all amenities, ask us how we can help accommodate for your family. We also pay close attention to dietary needs, allergies and substitutions.

Camp Wasaga is accredited by the Manitoba Camping Association and is affiliated with the United Church of Canada. Camp Wasaga is open to all faiths and beliefs, abilities and preferences.
