Young people between the ages of 14 and 19 years learn to give tours of the Davenport House Museum during an eight week program. Training sessions are held at the museum from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings beginning June 17 through August 6 when the newly trained JIs gives tours to the public.
Students interested in history, art, public speaking and historic preservation will find this program of interest.
The program is free and open to the public.
Requirements: A willing attitude and the ability to follow rules.
There are limited spaces available. An orientation will be held on May 17 at 6:30 p.m.
